THE INTERVIEW
Q. Tell us about yourself and your work.
G1 Aiden Stetson: My name is Aiden Stetson. I joined Totoya about a year ago. I usually work in the kitchen, and sometimes I host. I prefer working in the kitchen because I like getting my work done. Hosting can still feel a little awkward for me, but it is getting easier over time.
THE INTERVIEW
Q. What made you want to join Totoya?
G1 Aiden Stetson: Someone I knew was already working here and told me it was fun. It is also close to where I live, and the food is good. Hearing about the job and the staff meals made me think it would be a good opportunity for me.
G1 Aiden Stetson:

THE INTERVIEW
Q. What do you enjoy most about working here?
G1 Aiden Stetson: The staff are really nice. I can talk with everyone, and it is fun to work with my friends. There are a lot of college students around my age, including people from my college. It feels like an easygoing, fun place to work.
G1 Aiden Stetson:
THE INTERVIEW
Q. When do you feel, “Today was a good day”?
G1 Aiden Stetson: When it is busy and we get through it together. Then, at the end of the day, we make something and eat together. That is a nice part of working here.
G1 Aiden Stetson:
THE INTERVIEW
Q. What matters to you when working with the team?
G1 Aiden Stetson: Here, we help each other out. If the host is busy, someone else can help take the dishes. If someone in the kitchen is busy, the host can help too. People are good about that here. Knowing what the other positions involve helps us see where we can lend a hand.
G1 Aiden Stetson:

THE INTERVIEW
Q. How does that teamwork help your guests?
G1 Aiden Stetson: The store is small, and sometimes there is a line outside. When guests leave, we work together to clear the dishes and get ready for the next people. Passing things across the counter and having someone else take them away helps everything move along. We do not want guests to have to wait too long.
G1 Aiden Stetson:
THE INTERVIEW
Q. How was it when you first started?
G1 Aiden Stetson: There was a lot to memorize at first, with the different positions. You learn as you keep working, and it took a few weeks to get used to each position. Different people are better at different things; hosting took a little longer for me.
G1 Aiden Stetson:
THE INTERVIEW
Q. Where do you notice your own growth?
G1 Aiden Stetson: Now that I have worked here longer, I know what to do. At first, making decisions could be difficult, like deciding whether to do something or cut some extra ingredients. I feel I have gotten better at making those decisions over time.
G1 Aiden Stetson:
