Supporting Funergy from behind the scenes.
I’m Marcia, and I handle a wide range of back-office operations for Funergy Group Inc. My responsibilities include payroll and benefits, internal accounting and finance, taxes, vendor contracts, HR support, permit applications and renewals, and insurance.

Connecting each store with the office.
I’m Akane, and I provide administrative support for daily store operations.

Tac's Vision
From our beginnings to five shared values: the experiences that shaped Funergy, what “enjoying our work” means, and how we put our values into practice.

116 bowls. Three hours. New connections.
First-time guests, curious newcomers, and loyal regulars joined Totoya at Rice Fest. A small bowl opened the door to a new discovery.

Getting to Know Sake
A small sake workshop opened a conversation about flavor, culture, and the people behind every bottle. We want to invite more teammates to learn together.

From learner to teacher.
Natsuko joined without even knowing what she did not know. Now she answers questions, teaches others, and still gives every day her all.

What “Enjoy” means to us.
Customers are not sales numbers. Sales are the result of customers saying the food was great, they had a good time, and they want to come back.

A monthly note from Marcia and Akane.
Marcia and Akane introduce the Accounting Team and share where staff can go with payroll, deduction, tax, and office questions.

Small daily habits protect our stores.
A Head Chef message on reducing rodents and pests through cleaning, waste control, and early reporting.

Totoya is coming to Rice Fest.
Meet Totoya in Downtown Honolulu on September 9. Choose UME or TAKE in Mini and Regular sizes, starting at $6.

CHAZUKE — Totoya’s new way to finish.
Start with the negitoro bowl, then add hot house-made dashi and three toppings. One bowl becomes a second experience: chazuke.

Izakaya LaLa is getting ready to open.
Opening is planned for late September in Ala Moana. Look forward to yasai-maki, oden, and Japanese sake.
